Please reach out to us at 928-556-0776 if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our clinic emphasizes patient-centered care, focusing on your individual needs, goals, and preferences. We believe in hands-on, evidence-based treatment strategies while still utilizing intuition, experience, listening skills, and compassion to achieve optimal results. We feel that it is of great importance to ensure all of your questions and concerns are addressed by a licensed and experienced professional. All sessions are one (1) on one (1) with your therapist. We do not utilize technicians or aids.
We offer a range of physical therapy services, including but not limited to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance and fall prevention, dry needling, and post-operative rehabilitation. We are constantly looking for new ways to assist each patient to maximize their health and progress. We have access to the entire FAC gym and equipment (during your scheduled appointment) and utilize everything from TheraBand to advanced Clubbells, IronNeck and Exxentric machines.
We specialize in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and cervical pain, joint injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and more. If you experiencing musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction anywhere, we can help. Part of our mission is to guide our patients to a healthier future. Our patient-centered approach ensures personalized care for each condition.
The number of sessions varies on multiple factors and is based on individual conditions and progress. After your initial assessment, we'll discuss the expected duration of treatment and adjust as needed. For instance, a total knee replacement rehab plan of care may last as long as 8-12 weeks. Treatment would start off with 2-3 appointments per week but as the patient improves and depending on how compliant/motivated a patient is, visits may be reduced to 1-2 visits per week.
It is not uncommon to be asked to be scheduled 6 weeks in advance to ensure you don't get bumped off the schedule and have to wait another 1-2 weeks (sometimes ) to return to therapy.
It is a good idea to reach out to us and schedule physical therapy appointments as soon as you know your surgery date. Our surgical patient's tend to require more frequent visits particularly in the early stages of healing and it would be wise to have those scheduled prior to surgery (one less thing to worry about). We can schedule you for an estimated time frame depending on the procedure you are having and make modifications as needed. It's always easier to remove a scheduled appointment versus trying to squeeze you into a tight schedule.
No, you do not need a referral from your doctor to receive treatment at PT@FAC for most insurance plans. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for coverage.

We ask that you fill out our online intake form prior to your first visit which can be found here. During your initial visit, we conduct a thorough assessment to understand your condition, medical history, and personal goals. We will then create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. The initial appointment is arguably one of the most important and we pride ourselves at taking the time to get to know you and your condition so that we can formulate a individually specific plan of care to get you back to an active and pain-free life.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. It's best to wear attire that enables us to assess and treat the affected area without restrictions. If we are working on the legs or hips it wouldn't hurt to bring a pair of running shorts or something similar. Professional draping is used when needed and we pride ourselves in making everyone feel comfortable and safe.
