Dan's belief that our bodies should operate pain-free to their maximum potential has guided Dan's impressive health career over 3 decades.
Following a tour of military service, Dan began his formal training in 1991 while volunteering at the Downtown YMCA in Tucson, AZ and where he received his first physical fitness certifications working with adults and children promoting health and wellness.
The Southern Arizona native graduated (Summa Cum Laude) with his Bachelor of Science in Health Science (Sports Physiology) from the University of Arizona.
He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2007.
Throughout the years, he also served as a personal trainer and manual therapist and gained wide experience in a variety of settings as a physical therapist.
To this day, he continues to advance his knowledge and understanding of the human body as it relates to movement and overall health and incorporating this knowledge into treatment.
Dan holds professional certification and membership with the "gold standard" credentialing associations in the country for Physical Therapy (APTA) and Massage Therapy (AMTA). He is also board certified in Dry Needling in Arizona. He graduated (in 1994) from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ with a Certificate in Massage Therapy and he continues to be an active licensed massage therapist in Arizona for almost 30 years.
When out of the clinic, Dan enjoys being physically active and expanding his knowledge. He is an avid mountain biker, hiker and camper. When he is not doing something outdoors, he enjoys researching various topics and playing with computers in his spare time. He and his wife are small business owners in Flagstaff and opened Pilates North LLC in 2005.
Known for using a variety of manual approaches to accomplish optimal mobility and strength in both spine and extremity related injuries, Judy Stratton grew up in Minnesota.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Luther College in 1981 and graduated from Mayo Clinic's School of Allied Health Science Physical Therapy Program in 1983.
Judy has lived in Arizona since 1986 and has been working primarily in outpatient orthopedic clinics providing post surgical care along with treatment of acute and chronic work or sport related injuries.
Her specialized training beyond graduate school has focused on manual therapy approaches for joint mobilization and therapeutic exercise.
Judy's family, which includes her husband and two sons enjoy all that Flagstaff has to offer for quality of life and outdoor activities.
Jayme (also known as Jimmy) was born in Brazil but moved to Flagstaff at a young age. He considers himself a Flagstaff local and plans on serving the Flagstaff community for many more years to come. Jayme enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping, tennis and golf - pretty much anything that gets him outside.
After a tennis injury in high school his journey into physical therapy began and it was at this very clinic where he received the very best treatment, guidance and education that kick started his interest in pursuing physical therapy as a career. He found his time in physical therapy to not only be helpful for his injury but it ignited a passion for learning about the human body and to help others struggling through injuries.
He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science (2015) and his doctorate in physical therapy (2018) from Northern Arizona University.
